Topical Curcumin (Turmeric) with natural oil recipe

The last post i made using topical curcumin extract use a hydroalcoholic base. For those persons with sensitivity to alcohol here is an alternative recipe. First, look for McCormick brand Turmeric powder in a grocery store. Add at 1 teaspon of turmeric powder to 1 teaspon of virgin coconut oil or olive oil. Mix the ingredients until you can make a thick paste. Spread the paste on your face like a facial mask. This natural mask can reduce the size of inflammed pimples overnight.

The active ingredient on Turmeric Powder is known as "curcumin" which has a potent "anti-inflammatory property. It also promotes faster healing of inflammed lesions. If you have a very oily skin you should use the topical curcumin recipe that i posted earlier. It uses a water and ethyl alcohol base.
